These include significant progress in network modernization and the fiber optic strategy, simplification of the Group’s corporate structure and optimization of key business processes, improvements in customer service, the initiation of important efficiency programs, strengthening of financial stability, expansion of strategic partnerships, and reorganization of internal structures through the separation of the network and sales/service businesses. We would like to thank Mr. Oswald for his considerable contribution to the development of Tele Columbus AG and wish him all the best for his personal and professional future.”
On the occasion of his departure, Markus Oswald says: “I look back on my time at Tele Columbus with great gratitude. Together, we have set an important course, stabilized key projects, and made progress that will strengthen the company in the long term. It has been a great honor for me to lead this team and to actively and successfully shape the transformation of the group. I wish Tele Columbus and all its employees continued success and am convinced that the company is excellently positioned to take the next steps successfully.”
The succession is currently being finalized by the Supervisory Board and will be announced shortly. Until a new appointment is made, Joachim Lubsczyk (Managing Director at Alvarez & Marsal) will assume interim leadership of the company. The change of CEO also marks the beginning of the next stage in the company’s development. In this phase, the Supervisory Board will further refine the strategic direction and strengthen the competitiveness of Tele Columbus AG in the long term.
