– Future-proof fibre network with 1006 Mhz of bandwidth
– New multimedia sockets increase signal reliability
Berlin / Leipzig, 20. March 2020. WOGETRA eG Leipzig and Tele Columbus, a leading fibre network operator in Germany, agreed on prolonging their cooperation. With its brand PŸUR, Tele Columbus will continue to provide high-speed Internet, Telephony and an extensive TV offering to more than 7,000 households at attractive rates. Moreover, all WOGETRA premises will be upgraded to FTTB (fibre to the building) with fibre connections directly into the buildings.
All homes connected will be supplied with new multimedia sockets which will allow for a direct modem connection and thereby reduce potential TV signal interferences. This will significantly improve the signal reliability for broadband connections.
